Nitro Pow 2022

The 2022 Nitro Quiver Pow has been reinvented for the first time since being introduced into the Quiver series nine years ago, offering more fun without too much change, all with keeping true to the original theory of what this board is all about. Built for those deeper days with a large, thick nose, tapering to the new winglet-swallow tail shape. This new winglet shape, combined with the True Camber profile, works with the progressive sidecut of the board for increased control on groomers, while the swallow tail gives more maneuverability when dipped into powder, making it handle like a dream all over the mountain. The smaller length of the Pow, with these new shapes, makes it the perfect board to zip through trees, surf pow and control on groomers like no other.

 

Board Type: Powder

Camber Type: True Camber

The original camber type, unmatched for strong snap and powerful response. Each True Camber board in the Nitro range has it’s own special tweak to suit its intended terrain type, keeping the camber shape with a more specialised ride.

Flex: 7/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

All Terrain Flex – This is Nitro’s most versatile flex pattern, combining great pop and smooth response.

Directional Flex – This board has a directional flex pattern that allows more movement in the nose with a stiffer tail for extra pop and power under your back foot.

Shape: Tapered Winglet-Swallowtail

A very directional shape along with an exaggerated nose and swallowtail to keep the nose up, the tail down, and keep you upright instead of nosediving. The new winglets work with the sidecut to provide additional traction on groomers.

Core: PowerCore

Comprised of tip to tail Poplar wood, which provides an ideal blend of flex, response, and feel, while remaining strong and lightweight.

Bi-Lite Laminates – Bi-Lite Laminates have fibres running in two directions, providing strength, power, and a forgiving board feel.

Base: Premium Extruded FH Base

A new base material compound that is fast, absorbent and super resistant to abrasions.

Mounting Pattern: 2×4 Inserts

Additional Features:

Progressive Sidecut – A larger radius sidecut in the nose that blends into a tighter radius in the tail, keeping your turns fast and catch-free.

100% Natural Speed Wax – All Nitro boards are factory-tuned with Kandahars 100% Natural Speed Wax, a fully bio-degradable wax made of renewable resources.
